Getting a Quote

Generally speaking, there are two ways we can work with you to get together a quote or estimate for your project.

The simplest is that you let us know what you are after, we clarify things with a few questions, and then we can run the numbers.

Often more effective is an initial brainstorming meet-up to hear not just what you want in a site, but what you would like your project to achieve. There may be opportunities you might not have considered. There are advantages in us being involved earlier and more directly.

Either way, the quoting process is at no cost or obligation.

An example: A client came to us looking for a fairly straightforward marketing site. We heard about the format of the business and suggested an online application that now makes them back more than their original investment, each year, near-passively. Not every business has opportunities like that, but if it's free to explore, why not try it?

In a first meeting, you won't need folders of supporting material, mind maps, inspiration boards and the like if you don't already have them; just describing your needs verbally will get you by. That said, there are a few quick and easy things that might help us get a clearer picture of your needs and expectations. They're all optional:

  • a quick list of sites you like (in terms of size/scale, style or level of design polish)
  • a brief note on competitors
  • examples of any marketing collateral you have (business card, brochure)
  • a basic sketch of a sitemap (no need for anything fancy - pen on paper is fine)
